Questions
Do you charge per invoice?
No. Every plan includes unlimited invoices. We charge for the number of active clients you track, not for the paperwork.
What happens when the month ends?
On the first of each month Clockd groups your unbilled billable time by client, builds an invoice from your template, and emails each client a link to it. You can set it to prepare drafts for review instead of sending automatically.
Does the timer work offline?
Yes. The mobile app records entries locally and syncs when you reconnect. Entries created offline keep their identity, so nothing is duplicated when the connection returns.
Can I edit time after the fact?
That is what the desktop calendar is for. Drag to move an entry, drag its edge to resize it, or type the correction directly. Everything syncs back to your phone.
Can I export my data?
Yes, as CSV or JSON, at any time, including after you cancel. Your tracked hours are yours.
Which currencies do you support?
Any ISO-4217 currency, set per client, so you can bill a London client in GBP and a New York client in USD from the same account.
